A West Clare baby has been the first to be born in the MidWest in 2019.
Young Mary McKenna, the daughter of Conor and Aisling McKenna of Miltown Malbay, arrived into the world at University Maternity Hospital, Limerick at 2:20 this morning.
The couple have become parents for the first time, and both mother and baby are said to be doing well.
