Clare’s Baby Dog Rescue Service is shutting down today.
The service, led by Martina Flaherty, is understood to have saved hundreds of dogs from being destroyed but will have its last run today.
Tributes have been paid online and in social media, with some saying that it’s a huge loss for dogs in Clare.

The service has worked closely with the Clare county dog warden, Summerhill Vets and Dogs Trust since it began four years ago.
