A Clare auctioneer believes the Government’s new rent control plan will push more landlords out of the market than it’ll attract.
Among the measures to come into effect next March is security of tenure for all renters within the first six years of a tenancy as well as a ban on no-fault evictions.

There are 19 properties available to rent in Clare today with the average rent being €1,600.
