Clare Athlete Raises Voice For Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day

A Clare athlete is hoping to act as a voice for people with cerebral palsy across Ireland today.

Communities and landmark buildings throughout the country are turning green today to mark Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day.

Paralympian swimmer Jonathan McGrath lives with CP and was a speaker at a family fun day held last weekend to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by the 12,500 Irish people who have condition.

Speaking on Clare FM’s Morning Focus, The Killaloe native says it’s crucial that this sizeable cohort feels represented.
