A Clare Assistant Prinicpal says primary schools need more time to decide if they’re changing their religous status.
Almost 300 primary schools across the country have been identified as potentially suitable for shifting from Catholic to Multi-Denominational patronage.

Schools have until just October 31st to decide if they want to proceed.
Assistant Principal of Ennis CBS Colm Davoren says it’s not a simple decision.
