Clare Arts Services under pressure after lack of financial support

Clare's Arts Officer says a failure to increase its resources by national bodies means the service is under increased pressure this year. 

The Arts Council has awarded just over 210,000 euro in funding for projects across the county while the County Council's office will receive 63,000 euro this year. 

Of this, 26,000 euro is set to go on grants for small projects in Clare with information on all schemes available on the local authority's website.
