Clare Animal Welfare Experiencing Record Number Of Calls To Surrender Dogs This Christmas

Clare Animal Welfare is reminding listeners who are thinking about getting a pet for Christmas to really consider it.

It comes as new research from Dog’s Trust shows an 82% increase in the number of people wanting to give up their dogs, mainly because of behavioral issues and restrictions surrounding working from home loosened.

Clare Animal Welfare is a voluntary organisation with all animals in foster homes as it does not have a shelter, meaning places for dogs being given up are limited.
