Audiences across America will soon be viewing scenes from Clare, one of the best spots in the Galaxy.
It’s after prestigeous travel guide Frommers has ranked the banner county one of the 18 ‘Best Places to Go’ in 2018, alongside the likes of the Carribbean and Mauritius and Malta.
Now videos of Loop Head, which has been highlighted by the guide will be shown to TV audiences:
Frommers, the foremost guidebook company in America, says Clare is not only one of the best places in the world to visit but one of the best in the Galaxy.
It’s team of editors and writers cited the filming of Star Wars: The Last Jedi here as one of the calling cards for Clare.
The guide also praised the Loop Head Peninsula, the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren.
Tourism Ireland has hailed the news – spokesman Shane Clarke is welcoming the news.
Frommers has now asked Loop Head Tourism for videos of the vast beautiful scenes of the area, which are due to be played out on chat show Good Morning America, which is watched by millions of people each day.
Chairman Ian Glendinning says though he’s astounded that Clare has been ranked alongside some of the most beautiful spots in the world, Loop Head is about more than just Star Wars.
