Clare Activist Wants Collaboration On Progressing Rights Of Disabled People

A Clare rights activist is calling for a collaborative approach to ensure that the rights of disabled people are prioritised.

According to the latest census, there are almost 5,500 carers in Clare – an increase of nearly 180 on the figure five years previously.

It’s estimated that nationally, over 6.5 million hours of care are provided every week in this country.
