Claims West Clare Is Crying Out For Disability Services

It’s claimed people in West Clare are crying out for disability services in their area.

The latest Census figures show the number of people living with disabilities in Clare is now 15,369 – a rise of around 600 on the 2011 figure.

The Kilrush electoral area has the largest population of disabled people, at 599, while nearby Doonbeg has 123, the division of Kilfearagh has 58 and a number of other areas around report high levels of disabilities.
