It’s been suggested offering a discount for Clare tourist attractions to Shannon Airport passengers would be a worthwhile pilot scheme.
As a means of encouraging holidaymakers to fly through the Midwest facility, Sixmilebridge Councillor PJ Ryan has proposed offering a 10% discount for tourism sites owned by Clare County Council to passengers.
In addition, it’s been recommended that Shannon Airport implement a Ryder Cup flight package to attract those travelling to Adare for the international event in 2027.
