It's claimed the IFA could be facing substantial losses following a row over the collection of farm organisation levies.

Larry Goodman's ABP has withdrawn from automatically collecting levies and farmers in Clare have recieved letters stating that they must now request the deducations to be made.
But Whitegate Councillor Pat Burke, who's also a farmer, believes that instead farmers will opt-out of paying the fee, which he says could amount to losses of up to 400,000 for the Irish Farmers Association.
Councillor Burke has been telling me that farmers may be pleased with this outcome.
