It’s being claimed that Colonel Gaddafi was captured inside a large drainage pipe in his hometown of Sirte, before being shot by Libyan fighters.

Although there has been no independent verification of the former dictator’s capture or death, Libya’s National Transitional Council will hold a press conference in the coming hours.
They say Gaddafi was shot in both legs and in the head, and claim his body will be arriving in Misratah soon.
Latest reports suggest Gaddafi’s body is now in Misrata.
Britain’s Foreign Office and the US State Department say they can’t confirm his death or arrest.
