Claims have been made that south east Clare constituents is not a priority for the Limerick TDs and Senators representing them
It comes as all boundaries nationally are being assessed by a constituency commission Commission.
It's expected to publish its decision by June, and has been asked to maintain county boundaries as far as is practicable.
The Constituency Commission has been accepting submissions from the public, and the three from Clare, which have been published to date, all support bringing the whole county into the Clare constituency.
Around 4,300 voters living in South East Clare cast their ballots in the Limerick constituency, and Michael Begley Independent Councillor for Killaloe says boundary issues has led to Limerick's Oireachtas members becoming disinterested in the area.
