Clare’s Fianna Fáil TD claims that a lack of confidence in the Government’s ability to deliver on a number of issues is not a reason to topple it, when the country is facing one of the greatest crisis it has ever faced.
It follows comments by his party colleague Stephen Donnelly, who’s said we’d be hard pressed to find anyone in this country who still has confidence in it, following the National Children’s Hospital and other recent controversies
Deputy Timmy Dooley admits his party would have found it very difficult to renew the confidence and supply agreement but for the fact that Ireland is fighting tooth and nail to protect its interests post-Brexit.
