The second phase of the Ennis Public Realm Regeneration Project is set to get underway next month.
Clare County Council has this week signed a contract with Shareridge LTD to deliver the €11.5m upgrade to the streetscape of the town, with works set to commence on October 23rd.

The development will involve the installation of a public fountain and seating plaza at the height on O’Connell Street, while Barrack Square and Old Barrack Street will be developed as ‘café quarter.
Director of the Ennis Municipal District, Carmel Kirby is confident the project will significantly increase footfall for local business.
