It’s claimed that the plateauing of house prices in Clare is the result of the market levelling out, rather than “bucking the trend” of rising house prices.
The latest quarterly report from MyHome.ie shows the median cost of a home in Clare is €295,000, the same as in quarter one, but up €20,000 on 2024 figures.
However, the cost of a 3-bed-semi-detached house in the county now costs €26,000 more than it did this time last year, despite an over €7,500 price dip since March.
Managing Director of Myhome.ie Joanne Geary has been telling Clare FM’s Darragh O’Grady that constrained supply is resulting in the long term continued rise in house prices in Clare.
