Claims Competition Among Buyers Driving Clare Property Price Hikes

It’s claimed competition among buyers in Clare’s housing market is driving up property prices.

Myhome.ie’s report for the second quarter of the year which has just been published today shows the median asking price for a home in this county is now €275,000.

Between April and June though, the number of properties available for sale in Clare increased by 14% to 261.

Managing Director of Myhome.ie Joanne Geary has been telling Clare FM’s Daragh Dolan that while there are some positive indications, buyers must avail of government grants where possible to maximise affordability.
