Clare’s Independent TD claims the Central Bank has questions to answer, following the closure of three Clare Bank of Ireland branches and more than 80 others across the country.

The Tulla, Kilkee and Miltown Malbay branches are among 88 nationally, which will close their doors for the final time today.

The move was announced last March, as part of a shift towards online services, with some transactions now available through the post office.
