A West Clare Councillor is seeking urgent clarity on national policy regarding the distribution of active travel funding.
A new document states that the National Transport Authority will be focusing on large urban areas, with Ennis and Shannon to be prioritised.

Since January €3.3 million of the €4.5m active travel budget has already been approved for projects in both towns, while no initiatives are yet to be rubber stamped in West Clare.
