Clare's Ultra Marathon Champion has received civic recognition from the County Council.

Ennisman Keith Whyte was honoured in a ceremony last night, three months after he smashed the record time in winning the Antarctic 100km Ice Marathon race.
Since then, Keith was also Grand Marshall for the St. Patrick's Parade in the town.
He said last night’s honour was a special occasion.
