Shannon Development has described City Jet’s decision to pull its Paris service from the Mid West as a major setback for the region.
The company took the decision to end the route from Shannon to Charles De Gaule due to a major drop in passenger numbers as the economic recession continues to bite down hard on the Mid West.
The service restored connectivity to the region after Aer Lingus announced it was scrapping its Heathrow flights from Clare.
