Cigarette Vendors Threaten To Sue Irish State

The country's biggest cigarette vending machine supplier has threatened to sue the State over plans to ban them.

Health Minister Simon Harris wants to remove the vending machines from pubs across the country.   

Tobaccoland, which sells a million and a half Euros worth of cigarettes through the machines each week, employs 23 full-time and 10 part-time workers.

Its Director James Walshe says the ban will destroy his workforce and he's is determined to fight it:
