Day two of the Chinese Vice President’s official visit to Ireland will focus on agriculture and tourism.
Xi Jin-ping is due to visit Lynch’s Farm in Sixmilebridge in Co. Clare, as well as a trip to the Cliffs of Moher.
He’ll then travel to Dublin to watch a GAA match, before attending a dinner this evening in Dublin Castle, with the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny.
Tomorrow, China’s leader-in-waiting will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Government to enhance international trade relations between Ireland and China.
Farmer James Lynch will greet the Chinese Vice President when he visits his dairy farm in Co. Clare today.
