Plans are underway to commemorate the late coastguard volunteer Caitríona Lucas, who died in a sea search operation in Kilkee in September 2016.
Her husband Bernard, who is also a volunteer with the Doolin Coastguard, is one of the organisers of ‘The Caitríona Lucas Challenge’, which will see a number of people climb the highest peak in each county in Ireland over nine days.

The proceeds raised from the challenge will go to the Friends of Ennistymon Hospital.
