Charity Calls for Suicide Inquests in Private

Console is calling for inquests into deaths by suicide to be held in private.

The suicide prevention and bereavement charity says it would make the process for grieving families less traumatic and intrusive.

The call coincides with World Suicide Prevention Day.

Paul Kelly – the founder and Chief Executive of Console – wants the legal requirement for a public inquest after a suicide death reviewed.
