The Clare Garda Division has seen a number of changes to personnel at senior level.
An Garda Síochána has confirmed appointments and allocations of Superintendents, as a result of promotions.
Kilrush Superintendent John Galvin has transferred to the Ennis Garda Division, following the retirement of Brendan Mc Donagh last month, following 40 years of service.

While Superintendent John Ryan, who has been stationed in Bruff for just over two years and previously served as an Inspector in Clare, has been assigned to the vacant position in the Kilrush Garda Division.
The changes came into effect at the start of this week.
