Feedback is being sought following on from last month's Fleadh, but by and large the event has been hailed as a tremendous success for the town.

In a review of its own involvement, the Council has said the benefit to Clare was overwhelmingly positive, and that there was a high standard of co-ordination between the various agencies involved.

However, changes are now expected to some of the measures introduced this year to handle the large influx of traffic into the town.

Clare County Council provided 75,000 euro in direct financial supports towards the running of the event, and also spent another 560 thousand euro on a variety of town improvements and promotional activities.
