Cervical Cancer Campaigner Calls For Support For Dying With Dignity Bill

Cervival cancer campaigner Vicky Phelan is urging those with reservations about the Dying With Dignity Bill to allow people the choice to die peacefully.

The bill, which was proposed by People Before Profit TD Gino Kelly, has passed the first stage in the Dáil but will be subject to further scrutiny and debates before it could become law.

It advocates for people with terminal illnesses to be given the right to choose when they end their life, and those behind the Bill say it has adequate protection measures in place.
