The Inagh-based CEO of Muintir na Tíre has given a cautious welcome to the Government's new Town and Village renewal scheme.

10 million euro has been earmarked for the regeneration of population centres of less than 5,000.
380,000 euro will be made available to each local authority for eight projects, with a cap of 100,000 for each town.
