Central Bank Warned Not To Change Mortgage Rates

A prominent housing expert is warning the Central Bank not to change its mortgage lending rules.

Restrictions brought in last year mean that many first-time buyers need to have a 20 percent deposit.

But there's speculation that the rules could be eased to reflect the country's improved financial position.
