The Port of Cork will stage a commemoration event in Cobh today to mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Lusitania.

Cunard liner 'Queen Victoria' is docking in Cobh this morning with 2,144 passengers on board a 'Lusitanian Remembered' commemorative voyage.
President Michael D Higgins will then lead a commemoration ceremony which will take place in the town at 1pm.
