A West Clare community is celebrating this morning following a significant scoop in the national lottery.
One lucky punter in Kilrush claimed €41,340 in Saturday’s Euro Millions draw after matching five winning numbers.

The winning quick pick ticket was purchsed in Super Valu at Frances Street in the town on the day of the draw.
Elsewhere a player in Monaghan became Ireland’s 27th new millionaire of 2023 , while there were wins of €50,000 and €40,000 in Dublin and Wexford respectively.
