Formal sympathies have been extended by Clare County Council to the family of a Tulla man who died suddenly last month.
61 year old Gerry Kelly was a member of the council’s planning staff, and his death was described as a great loss to staff there, as last evening’s meeting of Clare County Council was adjourned for a short period as a mark of respect.

Prayers were also offered for the late Mr. Kelly who’s body was recovered from the sea near Doolin following searches last month.
