The Cathaoirleach of the East Clare Municipal District is hailing the development of a new strategic plan as a game-changer for the region.
The ‘Elected Members of Killaloe Municipal District Strategy & Work Plan’ is one of the first of its kind and was ratified by local representatives at last month’s meeting of the MD.

The plan has set out fifteen key objectives for East Clare, particularly prioritising the enhancement of tourism, sustainable housing, and the establishment of key digital hubs.
Kilmurry based Fianna Fáil Councillor, Alan O’Callaghan is confident the project will future-proof local communities.
