The Cathaoirleach of West Clare Municipal District says it’s vital steps are taken now to ensure Kilrush is ready for population growth in the near future.
It comes ahead of a public meeting at the Community Centre on O’Gorman Street between 7.30 and 9 o’clock next Monday evening, which is being hosted by the Kilrush Community Network.
The aim of the event is to build on work commenced by CLDC in 2018, as part of the town team development, when over 120 projects including additional parking, cycling lanes and a playground were identified.

Kilrush Independent Councillor, Ian Lynch says development at Moneypoint will ultimately result in increased population growth and the the town has to be ready.
