The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council says he isn't convinced by the announcement of funding for nursing homes in the county.

12 million euro has been set aside for the construction of a 50-bed unit at St Joseph's Hospital in Ennis and the refurbishment of the existing building between over the next five years.
While Raheen Community Hospital in Tuamgraney, Regina House in Kilrush and Ennistymon Community Hospital will each receive a share of a further four million for the completion of refurbishment works.
Councillor James Breen is giving the announcement a cautious welcome, saying he's heard it all before.
