A post mortem is due to take place today on the bodies of a man and a woman found dead in Carlow yesterday.

The remains of the couple in their 50’s were discovered with gunshot wounds in a Bed and Breakfast in the town yesterday afternoon.
A firearm was also found at the scene.
Gardaí are not believed to be looking for a third party in their investigation:
