A Clare Fine Gael TD Joe Carey is hopeful that local producers will reap benefits from the new investment at Bunratty Castle.
Shannon Heritage has invested one million euro at the site, including a new retail store and brand.
Both will showcase local crafts and produce, and while 30 jobs are beign created in the wake of the investment it's hoped that there will be a spin-off for a host of firms in Clare and the surrounding counties.
