Ennis will be pedestrianised once again for the festive shopping period.

As was the case last year, only O’Connell Street will be closed off to vehicles, though this year Ennis Town Council has opted to introduce car-free shopping for a longer period.
Cars will be blocked off from travelling down the town’s main shopping thoroughfare on the three Saturdays before Christmas – the 7th, 14th and 21st of December – as well as for the 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
