Shopping in Ennis goes car-free today – but only on O’Connell Street.

Following many pedestrianisation trials in recent years, cars will restricted from the main shopping street in the town between 12 and 6 today to encourage more customers to come to town while Ennis Town Council and the local chamber are promising music and a more festive atmosphere on the streets.
