The captain of a South Korean ferry which capsized killing 300 passengers has been jailed for 36 years.

Lee Joon-seok was cleared of homicide but found guilty of negligence.
Most of the victims of April's disaster were children.
Their families wanted the 68-year-old captain to face the death penalty.
