Gardaí have made a significant drugs seizure in South East Clare.

Two kilos of suspected Cannabis Herb with an estimated street value of 24 thousand euro was discovered when officers stopped and searched a car in Woodpark, Mountshannon on Saturday afternoon.
Two men, one in his 30’s and another in his 20’s were arrested at the scene and taken to Killaloe garda Station.
They have since been released without charge but a file is being prepared for The Director of Public Prosecution.
The seizure forms part of an ongoing operation by the Divisional Drugs Unit based in Ennis – backed up by local officers in Killaloe.
