Cannabis remains the most popular drug among young people in Clare, according to a local support group.

It comes as the North West Clare Family Resource Centre organsise a number of talks for parent of teens and pre-teens to provide them with information around drug and alcohol misuse.
They are being supported by the Mid West Regional Drugs Task Forum and will cover the signs and symptoms of use of drugs and alcohol; how to recognise paraphernalia and available supports and services.
A meeting will be held in the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon at 7pm this evening.
Anna O’Neill from Clare Community Drug and Alcohol Service says there are a wide variety of substances on offer to teenagers.
