Candlelit Vigil At Ennis Court House In Remembrance Of Gender-Based Violence Victims

A former Clare Haven service user insists all victims of domestic abuse can realise their own worth.

Over 40 people attended a candlelit vigil at Ennis Court House last night, to remember the 264 women, including nine from Clare who have been killed violently in Ireland since 1996.

The event was held as part of the sixteen days of action on gender-based violence which culminates on December 10th.
