The Canadian Ambassador to Ireland says he has been invited to visit Shannon Airport.

Ambassador Kevin Vickers has told Clare FM that he has accepted an invitation from management at Shannon Airport to visit the facility.
He was speaking ahead of a visit to a concert in Quilty last evening.
Air Canada has increased links from Dublin in recent times, sparking a 20% year-on-year increase in Canadian visitors to this country.
Ambassador Vickers thinks a further increase in links would be good for both countries.
