A new campaign has been launched to save Meelick Community Hall.
The structure suffered damage during last winter's storms and an initial assesment has discovered additional safety concerns over the building.
Repair works require the the demolition and rebuilding of part of a gable wall and the stripping of the roof amongst other items.
Local Fianna Fáil Cllr Cathal Crowe is hopeful they can raise the 25,000 euro needed.
