Scotland Yard’s confirmed the victim – who was hacked to death on a Woolwich street – was a serving British soldier.
Two suspects – who are believed to have Nigerian backgrounds – are under arrest in hospital having been shot by the police at the scene.
Speaking from Downing Street, David Cameron says Britain will only get stronger from this incident.
