A Clare Fine Gael Councillor insists funding is urgently needed for improvements to be made to the county’s Wild Atlantic Way.
It comes as the end of a busy staycation season approaches which saw tourists flock to the West Clare Coast to visit some of the most marketed and popular visitor destinations and attractions in the country.

Councillor Joe Garrihy is calling for increased and improved parking, mobility plan and accompanying implementation funding as a matter of urgency in advance of 2022 visitor season.
The Lisdoonvarna based Councillor says he is expecting an even greater number of visitors next year.
