There are widespread calls for urgent clarity on the capacity that will be permitted for Clare’s All Ireland Senior Hurling Championship clash with Cork this weekend.

Reports have surfaced suggesting just 500 supporters will be permitted into the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Saturday, despite more than 4,000 fans watching the Banner’s victory over Wexford.

Clare GAA has told Clare FM that as far as it’s aware, 500 will be the capacity limit, but they are hoping for this to be increased.
